Introductory Pricing

These sample memoir packages below are meant as general guidelines. The cost of a personal memoir will depend upon: 1) The number of filming sessions 2) The number of photos (of pictures and other memorabilia) that you would like to include 3) The hours needed for editing and post production work. My rate is $ 30.00 an hour.

The initial 45-minute consultation is free. Your completed memoir will be given to you on a USB 3.0 flash drive that will work on all computers. Your memoir can be easily copied and given to family members and friends. Extra copies of your memoir can be made for the cost of additional USB 3.0 flash drives.

3. Two sessions of filming (up to eight hours) including the set-up of equipment and the photographing of 10-15 photos or memorabilia.

4. Twelve hours of editing and post production work.

Family Legacy memoir

2. Two-hour pre-interview consultation and preparation.

3. Three sessions of filming (up to 10 hours) including the set-up of equipment and the photographing of 25-30 photos or memorabilia.

Every memoir is different. Our goal is to create something that is meaningful and right for you. Also, we want your experience to be enjoyable. We can answer the following questions and any other questions that you may have during your free 45-minute consultation.

Who conducts the Interview?

It can be conducted by a relative, friend or myself.

A free Flowing or Linear Structure?

The organization of the video memoir can be free flowing or it can be linear, going from one topic to the next. Individual topics could include family history, childhood, career, raising children, friendships, a loved one or significant events in your life including illness. You can look at a list of possible questions in advance or create your own.

What Location?

You can choose any location or even more than one location. (I would be happy to come to your home.) I could record and include a video of a birthday, graduation or a visit from family member or friends. As part of your memoir we could do “voice-over” where you would be able to talk about a video clip of your home or a favorite location

What Photos or Memorabilia would you like to have Photographed?

I have the ability to photograph your meaningful photos or other memorabilia including diplomas, awards, or works of art. Using “voice-over” techniques you will be able to talk about these images as part of your personal video memoir. You will also be able to use this opportunity to say things to a child, friend or loved one.
